As publisher and editor-in-chief of Disaster Recovery Journal, I extend my congratulations to Disaster Focus for their first year of publishing the only Korean magazine on disaster prevention. This is a great milestone that must be celebrated. By publishing Disaster Focus, you are bringing an awareness and education to your country that has not been achieved. I am proud to be associated with your magazine and am honored to have worked hand-in-hand with your organization. Disaster Recovery Journal is the premier business continuity magazine in the United States. It began more than 20 years ago, when the industry was quite small and still struggling. I recall the long nights as we put out the first few editions of DRJ magazine and am sure you experienced many of the same. It was not an easy task, but we have since grown into the world’s number #1 industry publication. I know that Disaster Focus is headed for success of an equal magnitude. As DRJ magazine has grown, we have branched into many other areas of education. I invite your readers to explore all that we have to offer. DRJ.com is a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate website dedicated to business continuity. The site offers archived issues of DRJ magazine, as well as Webinars, eNewsletters, blogs, message boards and more. The site also provides an easy way to explore and register for our conferences. The conferences are held each spring in Orlando, Fla. and each fall in San Diego, Calif. The Spring World and Fall World conferences are the largest shows dedicated to business continuity.
